The iQOO 15 has officially been revealed, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most powerful smartphones of 2025. At a recent event in China, the company highlighted its biggest upgrades in display tech and gaming performance.
Stunning Samsung Display
The iQOO 15 is the first phone to feature Samsung’s new 2K “Everest” OLED display with M14 material. It’s a 6.85-inch panel that ditches the traditional polarizer design for better brightness and efficiency.
Specs include:
- 2K resolution, 508 PPI, and Dolby Vision support
- Peak brightness of 6,000 nits (2,600 nits full-screen)
- 40% higher luminous efficiency with 44% less power use
- Longer lifespan, improved eye protection, and adjustable brightness down to just 1 nit
For gamers, the screen supports 144Hz refresh rate, 3200Hz touch sampling, and TÜV certifications for flicker-free and eye-safe viewing.
New Q3 Gaming Chip
iQOO also unveiled its in-house Q3 gaming chip, calling it the “mobile graphics card era.” It combines super-resolution, high frame rates, and even ray tracing in one chip.
Built on TSMC’s efficient process, the chip offers:
- 60% better performance
- 40% better efficiency
- 400% stronger AI power
- Full-scene ray tracing, including for Genshin Impact
Gaming Ecosystem
The Q3 chip works with iQOO’s QNSS rendering engine, the first full ray-tracing engine for big mobile games. iQOO claims it can run titles like CrossFire: Gun King at 2K resolution and 144FPS for an hour straight.
Over 180 games already support its features, with more partnerships coming soon.
Flagship Specs
The phone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, offering up to 23% faster performance than the last generation. Geekbench scores put it well ahead of Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro Max.
It packs up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, and a massive 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired and wireless charging.
Cameras
The rear setup has three 50MP sensors, including a periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom—the first time iQOO has added this to its flagships.
Design
The iQOO 15 sports a color-changing back panel with a square-circle camera module and LED ring. It comes in marble-like finishes and a new “Lingyun” color option, with flat metallic edges and RGB lighting.
Launch and Price
Pre-reservations are live in China, with the official launch set for October 2025. India should see it by November or December.
Pricing is expected to start around ₹59,999, putting it in the premium range.
Extra Features
The phone will ship with Android 16-based OriginOS 6, IP68/69 water and dust resistance, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and an advanced vapor chamber cooling system.
With its cutting-edge display, powerful gaming chip, and flagship hardware, the iQOO 15 is looking like one of the strongest contenders in the premium smartphone market this year—especially for gamers.
